"Know when to change channels if the knob is broken, between channels a snowstorm."

Most of the paintings the artist made up to 2017 told closed self-referential stories.

Image painting ("Change the channel", 2019) explores how to expand visual language towards more recognizable figures (the pressure pliers in the center) and the introduction of written language to meet shared experiences with others people of the artist's age. In this way, the breakdown of a couple relationship (the pliers as the limit between a man and a woman), the two houses, her hand of rejection, the faces in profile that look out of the painting, complement each other with another different experience and at the same time similar from the metaphorical.
